Woolet 2.0 for Android and update for iOS app

There are big, big changes in the Woolet Apps, both for Android and iOS! Check out what’s new.   At the end of October we were looking for beta testers for both the iOS app update and the brand-new feature, Lost&Found. We were very happy with the feedback our users provided us! Now, we’re able to say that the work is complete, and we’re ready to show you what we’ve prepared with the help of the beta testers team.   Woolet 2.0 for Android There’s a huge change to the Android app! Due to the new features, we’ve decided to create a brand new app: Woolet 2.0. So, apart from the previous functions, we’ve introduced the following: A new feature:...

Lost&Found – test the brand new Woolet platform with us

The Lost&Found, additional security for your wallet is ready! Now, we need some valuable user feedback to check if everything works smoothly.   What is Lost&Found? We introduced the Lost&Found platform at the beginning of October in our blog update here: New platform – Lost&Found. In short: your wallet (or any other item – we won’t limit your imagination!) gets a unique code you register along with your email address and a personal message. The card with the code should be placed inside the wallet at all times. If you lose your wallet and someone finds it, the finder can type the serial number on the website: Lost&Found.today. After that they will get your contact info with the message you’ve written....

iOS update: we’re looking for beta testers!

After a lot of feedback from iOS users, we have prepared an update fixing all reported bugs. We need your help with testing it! The release of iPhone 7 and Apple introducing the new operating system, iOS 10, affected Bluetooth connections, and consequently a lot of mobile apps which require Bluetooth synchronization faced some errors. Among them was, the Woolet App. Luckily, our iOS users informed us about the synchronization problems. Our programmers have been working on a new Woolet App update, and we think they have already fixed all reported bugs. To verify that, we need your help. We have already tested the new version of the app on various iOS phones, and it worked flawlessly, but to be...

Bug fix in Woolet Android App

Thanks to our wonderful users, we have recently been able to fix synchronization problem between the Woolet electronics and Android smartphones. Here’s what you need to know about this! As we informed you before there was a major firmware update for the Woolet’s electronics. The sensor in the electronics has its own software which allows it to work and connect with the mobile application. The firmware update made the connection easier, faster and more stable. We tested it on lots of devices, but there are so many smartphones right now, that we couldn’t possibly check them all. Luckily, our tech-loving users reported to us that on some devices there was a bug which made it impossible to automatically update your...

The Woolet Windows App is almost ready

That’s right, your eyes are not deceiving you: the Woolet App for Windows Phones is almost done! As you probably remember, our first stretch goal during the Kickstarter campaign was to develop a version of the Woolet App for Windows Phones. Not all wearables are covering this operating system, but we thought that Windows users should not be neglected. We decided that our product should be suitable for your smart phone, not the other way round.   Final adjustments We wish we could have brought this app out earlier, but our developer team met unexpected troubles with programming the app. Everything was originally ready for a Windows 8 version, but after the Windows 10 update came out our tests showed,...

[BACKERS ONLY] All the information needed

Autumn is coming, the leaves will fall and it’s really hard not to notice that time goes by so quickly. We finished our campaign at the beginning of April, and since then our workload has been very heavy and none of us has paused to think creatively.   Kickstarter success means that entrepreneur has to think even more efficiently to find the best possible ways to realise a project. As you may know, we’ve had to change our plans a few times; they seemed incredible good, but during testing we found they were not possible to maintain. When we started the project, we had a prototype of the Woolet and its electronics. Time verified this idea. Below you can read...

Take a look at the Woolet App

Woolet is a well-made mix of technology and design. Its sense of aesthetics is easy to judge – you see it at first sight. I am going to post more stuff about it, because previous articles have had amazing feedback. Also, some of our clients would like to know more: photos, specifications and a product description are greatly needed. For now, I invite you to read:● Getting prepared for first shipments and…● Amazing things that happen when you learn to develop a productIf you would like to buy a Woolet, just have a read:● Missed the Woolet? and go to...
