158 mm front width is the honest measure. Mainstream extra large eyeglasses cap at 140–148 mm. The first number printed inside the temple is lens width, not total front width. Woolet scales both axes together so the frame fits faces of 155 mm and above.
Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, hand made in EU. The same cellulose acetate block material used by Persol and Tom Ford. At extra large widths, cheap injection-moulded plastic warps under heat — acetate holds the set an optician gives it.
25–26 mm keyhole bridge — wider than the 18–20 mm typical of mainstream extra large frames — distributes weight evenly on a wider nose without leaving pressure marks. Temples run 150 mm on both shapes.
